Brooklyn, New York-based SolveTech Productions keeps owner and audio engineer Stas Olshansky a busy man. His A/V company, which puts on events across the Tri-State area and sometimes even as far as Canada, runs sound, lighting and video production for a wide range of events, including weddings and conferences.
When setting up for a new event, Olshansky always brings his Gig Gloves along — especially for intense tasks such as setting up line arrays.
“During line array speaker setup, I need to maintain good protection of my palms to avoid injury when working the mechanics of the array,” Olshansky said. “But, I also need to be able to dial in the processor settings. When I have dozens of speakers in a setup, it’s a big plus that I don’t have to take the gloves off and then put them back on each time.”
Always using a touchscreen device on the job, Olshansky finds the gloves’ removable fingertip feature very helpful.
“My Gig Gloves allow me to use iPad applications and keep the correspondence going,” he said. “Overall the Gig Gloves are a great product and great addition to my toolbox.”
